“ Stop everything you are doing anywhere on earth! It is imperative that you come to this restaurant to eat. Quite possibly the second best thing about Guadalajara, the first being the hostess at the rooftop bar in the Riu hotel. Now back to this restaurant, my boss had no idea that it was goat meat he was eating and he was licking that stiff up. Beans were amazing tortillas were on point and the different salsas are the best i ever had. Out of all my yelps in the ten years of yelping as a normal person and not the entitled elite status. This review will never do this place justice. I am coming to GDL again just to eat here. ”
“ La carne de birria es de res, buena. El consome rico cuando lo sirven hervido. Los frijoles sabrosos. El queso fundido tambien sabroso. Las tostadas duras, la salsa de molcajete, picosita pero rica. Tortillas "ok" ya que dicen que son recien hechas pero creo son recalentadas. El servicio lento. El lugar da un aspecto viejo. Basura en el exterior. Se puede escuchar musica en vivo de mariachi. ”
“ First time trying birria and i had it at the best place in town , i love the ambiance in this restaurant great costumer service if you come here you need to try the beans . ”
“ We stopped by on our way to Lake Chapala. The food was delicious - a large portion of Birria de Chiva for 4 people including queso fundido, frijoles, tortillas, drinks, cafe de olla, etc. We couldn't finish it all. The service was minimal but the waiter was very knowledgeable and explained all the dishes thoroughly. The ambiance was nice. We went on a weekday, so it was pretty empty, but the place is huge and apparently attracts large crowds during the weekends. ”
“ It's one of their OG spots in Tlaquepaque. They been around over 100 years. Very nice hacienda feel to the restaurant l my type of place. The waiter came quick brought me chips and salsa and took my order immediately. The food takes like 15 minutes to come out. They charred the meat and served the consome on the side like au jus style. The beans were some of the beans and cheese I've ever had and the Birria was amazing. Tortillas were home made and really good as well. It was so cheap too for how much food they gave me. Loved that place definitely going back as soon as I touchdown in Guadalajara, Top 3 meals I've ever had no lie. ”
